On top of that, I will stay for two hours to MC your reception, which means the person who just married you is also the person guiding your guests through the next part of the day. No handover. No awkward introduction. No MC reading from a clipboard with your names mispronounced. Just a seamless shift from ceremony to celebration, carried by someone who already knows you.
Your ceremony will be filmed and you will receive the full unedited footage, not a polished highlight reel that arrives four months later but the real, raw recording of your actual ceremony as it happened. I will also capture behind-the-scenes content throughout the time she is with you. The getting ready moments, the in-between bits, the details that often go unrecorded because everyone is focused on the official photography.

The Lowkey Legals covers Melbourne and inner suburbs. A travel fee applies for outer Melbourne areas and regional Victoria.
A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due at least two weeks before your ceremony.

What I Do at Your Reception
When I pick up the mic at your reception, I already know you. I know how you met, I know what makes you laugh, I know the names of the people in that room who matter most to you. That is not something you get when you book a separate MC who has read a one-page brief about you that morning. It is what you get when your celebrant and your MC are the same person, and it is the thing that makes the biggest difference to how the whole day feels.
As your MC, I run your full reception from the moment your guests walk in. That means I am managing the room, working with your venue and coordinator, keeping the energy right, and making sure every moment happens when it is supposed to without anyone having to chase anyone down to make it happen. You will not be watching the clock or nudging your partner wondering when speeches start.

The two hours of MC coverage in this package is a full run of show.

Two Hours or More if You Need It
The included MC coverage is two hours, which typically covers the main body of a reception, entrances through to first dance and beyond. Every wedding runs differently though, and if your celebration is going longer or you want me there for the full night, additional hours can be added to the package. Just let me know when we chat and we will build something that fits your day properly.
I work with your venue's AV setup and coordinate directly with your venue coordinator or planner throughout the reception so you are not the one relaying messages between your vendors all night. Your job at your reception is to be present and enjoy it. Mine is to make sure it runs.

Your ceremony will be filmed on a proper camera, in landscape, giving you a clean wide shot of the full ceremony as it unfolds. Not a phone propped against a chair. Not a shaky video from a well-meaning guest. A proper, steady, landscape recording of your actual ceremony, the vows, the rings, the signing, the moment you are pronounced married, all of it captured properly from start to finish.
Once I have the footage, I send it to you via Dropbox or a file sharing platform so you can download it and keep it however you like. You receive the full, unedited recording. No waiting months for a highlight reel, no wondering what ended up on the cutting room floor. The whole ceremony, as it happened, yours to keep.

A Note on Videography
The ceremony filming included in this package is not a replacement for a professional videographer if a fully produced, cinematically edited wedding film is something you want. What it is, is a proper filmed record of your ceremony and genuine content from your day, delivered without the cost, the wait, or the additional vendor to manage. For a lot of couples, that is exactly what they need. If you are unsure whether this covers what you are after, just ask me and I will give you an honest answer.
